Circular walk: Mayrhofen - Hochstegen

Start at the hotel and walk towards the train station. Use the pedestrian crossing and then turn right, cross the railway tracks and walk along the road towards Schwendau. After the Ziller bridge, continue to the left. Slightly uphill you reach the forest path, which then continues slightly downhill again along the edge of the forest (Kreuzlau). At the Tuxer Straße turn left and walk a short distance on the road in the direction of Mayrhofen - Dorf. At the Stilluperhof inn, turn left again and continue on the cycle path past the fire station until you reach the Rot Kreuz Stelle. Cross the Ziller bridge here and then turn left down onto the Zillerpromenade. After about 5 minutes' walk, a wide path branches off to the right and takes you back to the hotel.
