Mountain hike: Finkenberg - Gamshütte

Take the bus or car to Finkenberg. From there, walk over the bridge, turn right and stay on the road for a while until you reach the football pitch. This is where the path to the Gamshütte begins. On the way you cross a forest road a few times and after about 1.5 h to a small log cabin. From there you have a beautiful view of the Zemmgrund! After another 1.5 h, with a somewhat steeper last climb, you reach the Gamshütte (1,921m).

Other possibilities to ascend to the Gamshütte: from Finkenberg via the Grinberg - Alpe / from the Zemmgrund from the Saustein - Alpe / from the Tuxertal at the Rosengarten bridge via the Grinberg - Alpe / via the Els - Alpe on the Rudl- Stöckl trail.
