Simply fabulous - Tratzberg Castle was built in 1500 high above the Inn Valley between Jenbach and Stans and served as a hunting lodge for Emperor Maximilian I and the Fuggers. The late Gothic architectural jewel was richly furnished during the Renaissance and has been the residence of the Counts of Enzenberg since 1848. Perfectly preserved and fully furnished, Tratzberg Castle offers visitors a fascinating "audio play tour" (for children in fairy tale version), which conveys the history of that time in an exciting way.
