Mountain hike: Ahorn - Edelhütte

Take the Ahornbahn to the mountain station (1,978m) - starting point of the hike. From here, go left on trail no. 42a in the direction of Filzenkogel (2,227m). After a few hairpin bends you already have a magnificent view of Mayrhofen and the Zillertal Alps. The trail continues almost level around the shoulder of the slope.

Continuing uphill below the Filzenschneide, you reach the Edelhütte (2,238m), which is already visible.
