Tux - Höllensteinhütte-Grieralm circuit

Start in Tux-Lanersbach, at an altitude of 1,300 m, at the Hinteranger bridge, opposite Sporthotel Kirchler, house no. 453. First walk along the asphalted access road for a while. At the first bend, keep to the right, into the valley. From house no. 509, take the forest road uphill.

Follow this path until the view becomes clear and the Junsberg, Madseitberg and Grübelspitze greet you from the other side. You have reached the first stage destination, the Höllensteinhütte. After the mountain inn, a gravel path leads through the Tapental valley to the Grieralm. At the crossroads, keep left uphill. From the Grieralm, follow the same route downhill via Juns - Klausboden back to Lanersbach.
