Museum cemetery Kramsach

In this "cemetery without the dead", the visitor can reflect on the reconciliation of becoming and passing - with smiles and liberating laughter. Over 100 grave crosses with curious inscriptions can be found here, but no one is buried here. After decades of collecting in North Tyrol, South Tyrol, Salzburg and Bavaria by the master generations Guggenberger - Sagzahn Kunstschmiede - this private museum cemetery was painstakingly created in 1965. The sayings and the crude and heartfelt wisdom on the jewels of time- honoured blacksmith's art are evidence of the original folk humour in the Alpine country.

The most extraordinary crosses form the largest collection of burial crosses in Europe.
